Driving & Parking
Houston Marriott Westchase offers complimentary on-site parking around the perimeter of the hotel, especially on the east and south sides.
- Parking is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
- Valet parking is not offered at this time.
Also, please be aware that the Texas Beltway 8 nearby is a tollway. If you want to avoid the tollway fare, ensure your navigation settings are set to avoid toll roads.
Public Transit
Harris County’s metropolitan transit authority, METRO, allows for a more affordable access to the Houston Marriott Westchase as compared to taxi or ride-share services.
METRO offers a Trip Planner feature on their website. Enter your start and end points, and it will present you with the available bus/rail routes as well as expected travel times.
Fares
Local bus and rail service (which include all the routes listed below) costs $1.25 per trip.
- If you’re paying cash, exact change is required – bus operators do not give change.
- METRO’s “Q Card” reloadable fare cards offer free transfers (for up to 3 hours) in any direction, as well as 5 free trips for every 50 paid ones.
- METRO also offers a “Q Ticketing” mobile app for purchasing and using fares.

From Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH):
METRO picks up from IAH Terminal C only. For those flying into other terminals, use the underground subway tram to reach Terminal C after you’ve picked up your items at baggage claim. From the baggage claim level at Terminal C, find the exit on the south side of the terminal (Door C-105), which should have signage for “Shuttles & Buses.”
- Find bus route #102 (Bush IAH Express) with a routing toward “Downtown.” Buses arrive approximately every 30 minutes.
- Exit the bus downtown at Pierce St @ Travis St.
- Walk one block west (against the flow of traffic) on Pierce to Milam St. Look for the bus stop that’s adjacent to the fire station.
- Take bus route #82 (Westheimer) with a routing toward “West Oaks Mall.” Buses arrive approximately every 8 minutes on weekdays, or every 12 minutes on weekends.
- Exit the bus at Westheimer Rd @ Briarpark St.
- Walk one block south on Briarpark, past the Carillon shopping center, to the Marriott hotel.
From William P. Hobby Airport (HOU):
Upon exiting the baggage claim, look for Zone 3 and follow signage for METRO buses.
- Find bus route #40 (Telephone / Heights) with a routing toward “N. Shepherd Park & Ride.” Buses arrive approximately every 30 minutes.
- Exit the bus downtown at Lamar St @ Milam St.
- Walk one block south (with the flow of traffic) on Milam to Dallas St.
- Take bus route #82 (Westheimer) with a routing toward “West Oaks Mall.” Buses arrive approximately every 8 minutes on weekdays, or every 12 minutes on weekends.
- Exit the bus at Westheimer Rd @ Briarpark St.
- Walk one block south on Briarpark, past the Carillon shopping center, to the Marriott hotel.
